I am passionate about Lincoln County and the people that live here and am excited to be running for Lincoln County Commissioner, position 3. I was born and raised in Lincoln County in a commercial fishing family. 

 

My educational background is in science, with a bachelor’s degree from Oregon state University in Natural Resources and a master’s in Coastal Zone Management. I have spent the last fifteen years working for Oregon State University as a Sea Grant fisheries extension agent and serving as the OSU Lincoln County Extension Office county leader for the past three years. I have worked with a variety of stakeholders around complex and controversial resource issues. I am skilled at bringing people together to help solve community problems through education, science, and collaboration.

 

I am actively engaged in our community by serving as a foster parent and the current president of the Lincoln County Foster Parent Association. As a professional woman still raising young children, I bring a different perspective to county leadership.
